Students must be 3 or 4 years of age and potty trained for the pre-K program, 5 years of age for Kindergarten, and 6 years of age for 1st Grade on or before September 1, 2010.
Enrollment Policy
St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Elementary School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational or admissions policies. Pre-registration is open first to existing students, members of St. Charles Parish and then to the public.
Enrollment Procedure
To enroll your child at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Elementary School please complete the following forms and requirements:
- Completed Applications for Enrollment Form
- Birth Certificate
- Current Immunization 121 shot record (acquired at the Mississippi Health Department)
- Signed Parent Policy Agreement Form (in the back of the parent handbook)
- Tuition Agreement Form
- Registration & Book and Technology fees paid (non-refundable)
School Uniforms
Please see the attached link for the 2010-2011 dress code. Jumpers are to be bought from SchoolTime in Slidell, LA.
Withdrawal Procedure
A child may be withdrawn any time from St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Elementary School. Written notice will be needed for our records. Your child will remain an active student with tuition due until written notice has been received. No fees will be refunded. In order to re-enroll your child an additional registration fee will be due at the time of re-enrollment.
Change of Information
If you move during the year, please notify the teacher of your new address and phone number in writing. It is critical that we are able to reach you in case of an emergency. Please keep home, work, and emergency contact numbers up-to-date in your child’s file. If you will be at a different phone number for the day, please leave that information on the sign in sheet.
