Bereavement Committee

The Bereavement Ministry is made up of giving volunteers in the parish along with the help and support of the Church. When a parishioner passes away and the family comes in to prepare their loved ones' funeral service, they are asked at that time if they would like a bereavement dinner in the parish hall following the graveside service. The committee heads are then contacted, who in turn contact the volunteers to bring in various dishes to be served along with the meat that the church supplies. The parish hall is set up and the meal is served to the grieving family, relatives and friends.
